International CorrespondenceSan Andrés Cholula, Pue. — The Councilor for Migration of the municipality of San Andrés Cholula, Raymundo Cuautli, continues to strengthen his commitment to fellow nationals from San Andrés and Puebla living in the United States, through the implementation of programs and strategies that seek to keep alive the ties of identity, support and development between migrant communities and their homeland.
During his administration, the councilor has promoted an active agenda of binational linkage, which includes meetings with migrant clubs, civil associations and local authorities in various U.S. cities. These actions are intended to strengthen the sense of belonging, cultural preservation, and institutional care for migrants and their families.
Cuautli stressed that migration represents an essential social and economic force for the municipality, since remittances and cooperation from nationals have contributed significantly to the development of San Andrés Cholula. "Our migrants are a pillar that drives the growth of our communities; their effort and love for their land deserve all our recognition," said the councilor.
In addition, it has promoted family reunion, roots tourism and cultural dissemination programs, which seek to strengthen the links between migrants and new generations who maintain a strong attachment to their San Andres origins. These initiatives seek to make the children and grandchildren of migrants aware of their roots, their culture and the value of the Cholultec identity.
In coordination with state and federal agencies, the councilor also manages the installation of migrant care modules, which offer legal advice, guidance on human rights and support in consular procedures. Its objective is to provide comprehensive support that recognizes the dignity of Pueblans abroad.
Raymundo Cuautli pointed out that, through this work, it seeks to build a network of international cooperation that unites the people of San Andres beyond borders, strengthening the ties between the peoples of origin and destination. "From San Andrés Cholula, we will continue working so that migrants feel accompanied by their government and their people," he said.
With this effort, the councilor reaffirms his role as a link between migrant communities and local authorities, consolidating a humanistic and inclusive vision that puts the migrant at the center of municipal public policies.

San Andrés Cholula, Pue. — El regidor de Migración del municipio de San Andrés Cholula, Raymundo Cuautli, continúa fortaleciendo su compromiso con los connacionales sanandreseños y poblanos radicados en los Estados Unidos, mediante la implementación de programas y estrategias que buscan mantener vivos los lazos de identidad, apoyo y desarrollo entre las comunidades migrantes y su tierra natal.
Durante su gestión, el regidor ha promovido una agenda activa de vinculación binacional, que incluye encuentros con clubes de migrantes, asociaciones civiles y autoridades locales en diversas ciudades estadounidenses. Estas acciones tienen como propósito fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia, la preservación cultural y la atención institucional a los migrantes y sus familias.
Cuautli destacó que la migración representa una fuerza social y económica esencial para el municipio, pues las remesas y la cooperación de los connacionales han contribuido significativamente al desarrollo de San Andrés Cholula. “Nuestros migrantes son un pilar que impulsa el crecimiento de nuestras comunidades; su esfuerzo y amor por su tierra merecen todo nuestro reconocimiento”, afirmó el regidor.
Además, ha impulsado programas de reencuentro familiar, turismo de raíces y difusión cultural, que buscan estrechar los vínculos entre los migrantes y las nuevas generaciones que mantienen un fuerte apego a su origen sanandreseño. Estas iniciativas buscan que los hijos y nietos de migrantes conozcan sus raíces, su cultura y el valor de la identidad cholulteca.
En coordinación con instancias estatales y federales, el regidor gestiona también la instalación de módulos de atención al migrante, que ofrecen asesoría legal, orientación sobre derechos humanos y apoyo en trámites consulares. Su objetivo es brindar un respaldo integral que reconozca la dignidad de los poblanos en el extranjero.
Raymundo Cuautli señaló que, a través de este trabajo, se busca construir una red de cooperación internacional que una a los sanandreseños más allá de las fronteras, fortaleciendo los lazos entre los pueblos de origen y destino. “Desde San Andrés Cholula, seguiremos trabajando para que los migrantes se sientan acompañados por su gobierno y por su gente”, puntualizó.
Con este esfuerzo, el regidor reafirma su papel como enlace entre las comunidades migrantes y las autoridades locales, consolidando una visión humanista e incluyente que pone al migrante en el centro de las políticas públicas municipales.
